For a thousand years pilgrims have crossed Europe to reach the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela. To arrive by luxury train, after six days along the coast, is a pilgrimage of a different kind.

The Obradoiro & old town

The Praza do Obradoiro, framed by the cathedral's baroque façade, is one of Europe's great squares. The UNESCO old town is a granite labyrinth of arcades and scallop-shell waymarks, scented with Galician cooking: pulpo, empanada, Padrón peppers, Albariño and the almond tarta de Santiago.

Many guests add nights in Santiago or continue to the Rías Baixas wine country. As the official source, we'll arrange it.
